![]() ![]() ![]() I forget if I've heard the reason why it doesn't do that for you automatically. I guess after switching the gamedir using a console command like that, you could also then enter "exec quake.rc" in the console, to make sure that everything is kosher. (Also this doesn't work at all in some Quake engines, since gamedir switching from the console is a newly added feature.) That doesn't always work perfectly, since switching gamedirs from the console won't execute the quake.rc script (if any) from the new game directory. ![]()
